Miltex Sterilising Agent is a concentrated chlorine solution designed for disinfecting washable, non-metallic hard surfaces and equipment across healthcare settings. It's especially suited to situations that require a reliable, adjustable chlorine solution – from routine surface hygiene to the management of blood and bodily fluid spills.
Supplied at a minimum of 20,000 ppm available chlorine when packed, it can be diluted to the appropriate concentration for each task, from food contact surfaces through to high-risk contamination scenarios. Solutions should be made up fresh daily and discarded after 24 hours to maintain efficacy.

Dilution Guide
- Blood and bodily fluids: 500ml (1:1) – 10,000 ppm available chlorine solution
- General healthcare: 50ml (1:19) – 1,000 ppm available chlorine solution
- Food contact surfaces & for immersion/soaking: 25ml (1:39) – 500 ppm available chlorine solution
Instructions for Use
- Soiled surfaces must be cleaned thoroughly prior to application.
- Make up solutions daily with cold tap water. Discard unused solution after 24 hours.
- Always ensure that any surface is fully wetted or if soaking submerged.
- Contains minimum 20,000 ppm available chlorine when packed.
- Use the volume indicated and make up to 1 litre with water.
